Horticulture Auctions
Horticultural Auctions are held every Wednesday from 9 am and every Thursday from 5 pm.
We sell many thousands of items by auction every week including bedding plants, perennials, shrubs, conifers, fruit and flowering trees, hedging, ornamental and house plants, farm fresh vegetables, fruit, potatoes, eggs and garden sundries.
In season we sell Christmas trees, holly wreaths, dressed poultry, spring and summer flowering bulbs. These auctions are not online.
Sale Times
Every Wednesday
- 9:00 am - Bedding plants
- 10:00 am - Shrubs, perennials and conifers
- 11:00 am - Potatoes, vegetables, fruit, eggs and produce, garden furniture and sundries
- 12:30 pm - Cut flowers, ornamental and house plants
Every Thursday Evening
- 5:00 pm - Bedding plants
- 5:30 pm - Shrubs, perennials and conifers
- 6:00 pm - Potatoes, vegetables, fruit, eggs and produce followed by garden furniture and sundries
- 7:00 pm - Cut flowers, ornamental and house plants
Goods Acceptance Times
- Wednesday sale: Tuesday 8 am - 4 pm and Wednesday 8 am - 10 am
- Thursday sale: Thursday 8 am - 4 pm

Online Horticultural Auctions
These are held onsite and on three online bidding platforms on the first and third Tuesday every month at 9.30 am. They are open to online and onsite bidders. Viewing is on the day prior to sale from 12 noon to 4 pm and from 9 am on the day of sale.
Goods are accepted for this auction on the Friday prior to sale between 9 am and 12 noon and on the Monday before sale from 9 am to 12 noon.
